Professional Poker Player. Relentless Competitor. Student of the Game.

Grit and persistence brought to a game of strategy and wits.

Alex Foxen grew up in Cold Spring Harbor, New York, where athletics, great parents, and a belief in hard work shaped his competitive mindset. After concussions ended his football career at Boston College, poker became the outlet—and he has never looked back.

Grit Over Comfort

Bill and Denise Foxen taught Alex that persistence and hard work can open any door. That lesson continues to guide every session, decision, and challenge.

Study the Game

After college, Alex built his days around training, studying high-roller tournaments, and long online sessions—often spending 14 hours playing or learning.

Compete With Purpose

Football and junior ice hockey built the foundation. Poker turned that athletic drive into a lifelong pursuit of sharper strategy, stronger decisions, and constant improvement.
